12 hours of immersive Fire Photography near Lille with Yann Delcambre and Andrey Das. Join fire photographer Yann Delcambre and fire artist Andrey Das for an intensive two-day masterclass designed to guide you through the demanding world of Fire Photography.This exclusive workshop is crafted to help you master the use of firelight and refine your sense of composition, enabling you to capture moments in a truly artistic and unique way.

📚 Full Workshop Structure & Schedule

Part 1 – Understanding & mastering Fire Photography (~7h)

📅 Saturday, 10:00 – 18:00

A technical session that lays the foundation: without a strong image at capture, there’s no magic in postproduction.

Program highlights:

  • Introduction to Fire Photography: aesthetics, constraints, risks

  • Safety awareness

  • Overview of different fire photography styles

  • Technical theory: required gear and recommended settings

  • Personalized camera analysis

  • Identifying which fire techniques are possible with your setup

  • Finding your optimal settings

  • Practice sessions based on theory

  • Demos, discussions… and a closing drink 🍻

Goal: Understand the limits of your gear, optimize your settings, and build a strong, reusable foundation.

Part 2 – Guided shooting with a fire performer (~2h)

📅 Saturday, 20:00 – 22:00

A real-world shoot guided by two professionals.

Program highlights:

  • Applying concepts from the first session

  • Understanding how to organize a fire shoot

  • Shooting with a professional fire model

  • Model direction and interaction

  • Framing, timing, and anticipating movement

Goal: Handle unpredictability, compose in motion, and capture powerful moments.

Future: This session will evolve into themed events with specific fire acts (e.g., “Props”, “Pyro”, “Fire Breather”, “Flash”, etc.).

Part 3 – Editing & postproduction workshop (~3h)

📅 Sunday, 10:00 – 13:00

Bring your fire vision to life—no tricks, just real, well-developed imagery.

Program highlights:

  • Lightroom workshop

  • Fine tuning: contrast, tones, flame textures

  • Personalized artistic support

  • Building a coherent image series

Goal: Edit with precision and restraint to reveal the full visual impact of fire.

Yann Delcambre

Award-winning photographer specializing in fire, low light, and motion. He combines technical rigor, artistic vision, and personalized pedagogy to help each participant improve.

Andrey Das

Fire breather and leading figure of the fire arts in France (founder of Burn Crew Concept). He bridges the gap between photographer and performer, offering a rare and insightful perspective on this unique scene.
